M. Atobe et T. Nonaka, ULTRASONIC EFFECTS ON ELECTROORGANIC PROCESSES - ELECTROREDUCTION OF BENZALDEHYDES ON ULTRASOUND-VIBRATING ELECTRODES, Chemistry Letters, (8), 1995, pp. 669-670
Ultrasound-vibrators (stepped hems) themselves were used as cathodes f
or electroreduction of benzaldehydes. Current efficiency for the reduc
tion and selectivity for the corresponding hydrodimeric products (HD)
were increased with increase in ultrasound-oscillating power.
