Some problems regarding of theoretical and computer-aided studies of i
ntegral characteristics of dynamic emission-imaging electron-optical s
ystems (streak image tubes) are considered on the basis of perturbatio
n theory. The first part of this work is devoted to the derivation of
a spatial/temporal instrumental function by means of a tau-variations
technique developed earlier. In the second part a general approach to
computer simulations of Coulomb repulsion effects in streak image tube
s is suggested. The approach is based on an approximation of the initi
al quasistationary self-coordinate boundary-value problem for the elec
tric field and charged particles trajectories through a sequence of Ca
uchy problems for aberration expansion coefficients of electron beam i
n the tau-representation.
