It is found that in (CH3NH3)(2)CuCl4 crystals under nonlinear magnetic
resonance conditions in the magnetic-field range in which hysteresis
is observed, pulsed laser irradiation induces a transition between dif
ferent branches of the resonance curve. The effect exhibits a threshol
