Abstract
It is found that in (CH3NH3)(2)CuCl4 crystals under nonlinear magnetic resonance conditions in the magnetic-field range in which hysteresis is observed, pulsed laser irradiation induces a transition between dif ferent branches of the resonance curve. The effect exhibits a threshol d with respect to the optical radiation power. (C) 1996 American Insti tute of Physics.
