We present the findings of a literature survey on decision analysis in energy and environmental modeling. Surveyed studies are classified ac cording to the decision analysis technique used and by application are a. It has been found that decision making under uncertainty is the mos t important application technique and energy planning and policy analy sis is the most common application area. The results of a multiple att ribute analysis ori suitability and actual level of usage of each deci sion analysis technique for energy and environmental applications are also presented.
