Perfect-fluid, diagonal G(2) spacetimes admitting a (proper) inheritin
g conformal Killing vector (ICKV) are studied. A result which specifie
s the possible form of an ICKV (under certain physical conditions) in
such a spacetime is proven, and then used to determine all (physically
admissible) diagonal G(2) perfect-fluid ICKV spacetimes. In particula
r, all such spacetimes in which the perfect fluid satisfies a barotrop
ic equation of state, mu > 0, mu + p not equal 0, and in which the ICK
V is proper, are explicitly found.
