The dependence of hydrolysis resistance, swelling, and sorption of chl
oride anion on the pH of the solution has been investigated for fibrou
s aminocarboxyl ion exchanger containing RCONH(CH2)(2)NH(CN2)(2)NH2 an
d RCOOH groups. The limiting values of pH and contact time of ion exch
anger with aqueous solutions, during which the ion exchanger propel-ti
es remain stable, have been determined.
