Abstract
Liquid-vapor equilibria in binary systems formed by hexamethyldisiloxa ne with methanol, ethanol, n-propanol, and n-butanol have been studied experimentally at various pressures. It has been checked as to whethe r or not it is possible to apply known methods of calculating paramete rs of azeotropic mixtures to these systems. A method of calculating li quid-vapor phase diagrams at various pressures has been proposed.
