M. Koike et al., POLARIZATION EFFECTS IN CHARGINO PRODUCTION AT HIGH-ENERGY GAMMA-GAMMA COLLIDERS, Physics letters. Section B, 357(1-2), 1995, pp. 232-236
We investigate the chargino production process gamma gamma --> (W) ove
r tilde(+)(W) over tilde(-) at high energy gamma gamma colliders in th
e framework of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). Here
the high energy gamma beams are obtained by backward Compton scatterin
g of a laser flash by electrons in basic linear TeV ee colliders. We c
onsider the polarization of the laser photons as well as the electron
beams. An appropriate beam polarization could be effective for enhanci
ng the cross section and for extracting the signal from the dominant b
ackground gamma gamma --> W+W-.
