Abstract
Synthesis of ,6,7,12,12b-octahydroindolo[2,3-a]quinolizin-2-one (1) an d assignment of stereo chemistry of the diastereoisomeric alcohols, 12 ,12b-octahydroindolo[2,3-a]quinolizin-2-ethylene thioketals (4a-4d) ha s been discussed.
