Abstract
A temporal transition model of speech is proposed for speaker recognit ion and verification. The issues of model building, distance measure a nd implementation are addressed. A set of experiments are conducted, w hich give a 98.9% recognition rate and 99.5% verification rate. Short- timed dynamics of utterance well encodes the speaker specificity.
