Abstract
A 28GHz coplanar-waveguide (CPW) active antenna oscillator element is described which is suitable for use in an omnidirectional or sectored transmitter. The unique design contains a modified version of a Vivald i tapered slot antenna and is based on a pseudomorphic HEMT.
