Abstract
The corresponding tetracarbonyl iron silylene complexes (3 and 4) have been synthesized by reaction of two different oro-4-neopentyl-2,3-dio rgano-1-silacyclobut-2-enes (1 and 2) with Na2Fe(CO)(4). The metal com pounds 3 and 4 have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallo graphy.
