Abstract
Xe-129-NMR of adsorbed xenon is of increasing interest for studying th e physical properties of solids: cavity or channel dimensions; short-r ange crystallinity; nature of structural defects, polymer heterogeneit y, etc. This review, which does not claim to be exhaustive, gives a cr itical account of the Various ways of using this technique for studyin g the porosity of solids.
