A case of blindness in a two-year-old male, German Shepherd dog was di
agnosed as ocular GME. The diagnosis was made clinically with the supp
ort of a health profile, urine analysis, culture and CSF analysis. Ocu
lar ultrasound enhanced the ophthalmological diagnosis and provided a
prognosis for vision. The clinical diagnosis was supported by gross an
d histopathological evidence of CNS and ocular GME.
