Em. Langer et Ai. Ryskin, VIBRONIC INTERACTION ASSOCIATED WITH INTERCENTER TRANSITIONS IN TRANSITION-METAL IMPURITY IONS IN SEMICONDUCTORS, Semiconductors, 29(8), 1995, pp. 795-796
The vibronic interaction is studied for the optical spectra of semicon
ductor crystals doped with transition-metal ions. It is shown that for
any optical transitions (intercenter, photoionization) the vibronic i
nteraction is considerably weaker in these crystals than in predominan
tly ionic crystals. The weakness of the vibronic interaction is relate
d to the large shift in the states of the transition- metal impurity i
on and in the ligand (band) states in the semiconductor. (C) 1995 Amer
