Abstract
The active PFCM (Power Factor Correction Module), which is boosted typ e regulator, intended to apply on home-use inverter air conditioner fo r European market has been developed. This module has achieved the 1.5 kW maximum output and the power factor of more than 99% at rated inpu t. The performance meet the standard of IEC 1000-3-2 (specified on Pow er Line Harmonics) effective from 1996 and we may self-express ''CE De claration'' on Sharp's air conditioner.
