Abstract
We have fabricated various heterostructures using in-plane oriented a- axis YBa2Cu3O7-x and PrBa2Cu3O7-x on LaSrGaO4 substrates. Superconduct or-insulator-superconductor multilayers were fabricated with LaSrGaO4 and Nd2CuO4 as dielectric layers. For such structures with approximate ly 3000 Angstrom of Nd2CuO4, both top and bottom layers had T-c (R=0) greater than or equal to 85 K. YBa2Cu3O7-x,/PrBa2Cu3O7-x/YBa2Cu3O7-x r amp-edge junctions were fabricated in the b-direction of the a-axis fi lms, and an I(c)R product of 1mV was obtained at 4.2K.
