T. Satoh et al., RESONANT-TUNNELING TRANSPORT IN YBACUO PRBACUO/YBACUO EDGE TYPE JOSEPHSON-JUNCTIONS/, IEEE transactions on applied superconductivity, 5(2), 1995, pp. 2612-2615
YBaCuO/PrBaCuO/YBaCuO edge-type Josephson junctions were fabricated an
d their transport properties were studied. Josephson effect in these s
tructure was confirmed by the observation of microwave induced Shapiro
steps and periodic magnetic field dependence of the critical current.
Normal electron transport in the junctions was well explained by Glaz
man and Matveev's theory for hopping transport via localized states. I
n addition, the supercurrent transport in PrBaCuO is possibly supporte
d by the resonant tunneling via the localized states. We estimated the
density of the localized states to be 10(16)cm(-3).
