Ka. Delin et Aw. Kleinsasser, COMPARATIVE-STUDY OF THE STATIONARY PROPERTIES OF HIGH-T-C PROXIMITY COUPLED JOSEPHSON-JUNCTIONS, IEEE transactions on applied superconductivity, 5(2), 1995, pp. 2976-2979
Much recent research aimed at developing high temperature Josephson ju
nctions for electronics applications is based on superconductor-normal
metal-superconductor (SNS) edge junctions which, in some instances, e
xhibit excellent current-voltage characteristics, high critical curren
t-resistance products, and low noise. We review tile data available in
the published literature and conclude that, despite the useful perfor
mance of these junctions, there is little evidence that the behavior o
f most reported high-T-c SNS devices can be described by conventional
proximity effect theory.
