A NOVEL JOSEPHSON CELLULAR ARRAY

This paper describes a novel Josephson combinational logic cellular ar ray which can perform any function of n-variable. The basic logic func tions such as AND, OR, NOT and Exclusive-OR can be easily achieved by the proposed cellular array. In this paper the principle to construct the cellular array by using SQUID gate is described in detail. In orde r td verify the operation of the cellular array, simulations have been made for basic logic circuits and a full adder with a satisfactory re liability and high speed operation.
