The article presents one of the theoretical approaches to the problems
of strategic organizational structures and interprets their transform
ation process under the present Slovak conditions. Organizational stra
tegics such as bureaucracy/product-out, marketing/product-in, involvem
ent/process improvement and venture/market-in are analysed in the firs
t part of the paper. Specific factors that influence the strategic str
ucture of Slovak firms and dynamics of their development are presented
in the second part of the article. Strategic alternatives for Slovak
enterprises venture/market in are discussed in the last section of the
paper.
