Abstract
The synthesis of p-nitrobenzyl yldimethylsilyl)oxy]ethyl]carbapenam-3- carboxylate and allyl luoro-1-methyl-2-phenylcarbapen-2-em-3-carboxyla te is detailed. The difficulties encountered in further chemical elabo ration of these analogs are reported.
