Abstract
We demonstrate the heterodyne detection of two CO2 laser signals offse t in frequency up to 82.16 GHz using a multiple quantum well intersubb and infrared photodetector. The high frequency is reached by down conv ersion using the detector itself as a microwave or millimeter-wave mix er. (C) 1995 American Institute of Physics.
