Abstract
The interaction of Ag (up to 10 monolayers nominal coverage) deposited at room temperature onto InP(100)4 X 2 surfaces has been studied by t he analysis of soft-X-ray photoemission spectra from core levels and v alence bands. We observe strong intermixing and cluster growth at all coverages.
