The reactivities of LiAlH4 and LiAlH4-Pd supported on porous carbon 'S
ibunit' in dechlorination of chlorobenzene under mild conditions and t

ed. Supported hydrides demonstrate better reactivity compared with LiA
lH4 in ether-toluene solution. H-1, and Al-27 NMR MAS spectra of suppo
rted Pd-LiAlH4/Sibunit suggest the formation of complex hydrides on th
e surface.
