Abstract
The contribution is tending to phytocoenotic and production - ecologic al changes of original oak-lime tree forests and secondary pine forest s, arisen on original stands after an artificial reforestation on Zaho rska nizina lowland. Analysed in detail is an original oak-lime tree f orest (Melico uniflorae-Tilietum cordatae ass. nova hoc loco) and a se condary pine forests planted after subass. typicum (Rubo fruticosae-Pi netum, Pteridio aquilini-Pinetum) and after subass. melitietosum (Fest uco ovinae-Pinetum). Changes in cover and biomass of the herb and moss layers of above-mentioned communities are discussed.
