Abstract
Essential thrombocythemia (ET) is a myeloproliferative disorder charac terized by persistent elevation in platelet count. It is a rare disord er in children, and children who have symptoms require treatment. We r eport the successful use of anagrelide, with few toxic effects, in the treatment of three children with ET.
