Abstract
The influence of ultrasonification time and aging on the unilamellar f ormation and stability of liposomes was studied by calorimetric measur ements. It was shown that calorimetry is an useful method to study bot h phenomena. Furthermore, the influence of amphiphilic peptides in lec ithin containing liposomes was investigated by differential scanning c alorimetry (DSC). To modify the lecithine liposomes, three different c yclic peptides, peptide A, peptide B, and peptide AB, were used. These peptides behaved like amphiphilic compounds. The DSC curves of liposo mes, which were modified by peptide A, peptide B, and peptide AB demon strated that separation took place with increasing peptide content in the lecithine bilayer phase.
