H. Sakuta, ANTIARRHYTHMICS BISARAMIL AND S-1389 INHIBIT GLIBENCLAMIDE-SENSITIVE K-ENCLOSED XENOPUS OOCYTES( CURRENTS IN FOLLICLE), Asia Pacific journal of pharmacology, 10(1), 1995, pp. 37-39
Effects of five class I novel antiarrhythmics on glibenclamide-sensiti
ve Kf currents were investigated using follicle-enclosed Xenopus oocyt
es. At a holding potential of -20 mV, bisaramil and S-1389 suppressed
Y-26763-induced/glibenclamide-sensitive K+ currents with IC50 values o
f 135 mu M and 167 mu M, respectively. Pentisomide, AN-132 and TYB-382
3 showed less potent inhibition.
