Ay. Varaksin et al., EFFICIENCY OF AMPLITUDE SELECTION OF SIGNALS IN A STUDY OF HETEROGENEOUS FLOWS USING A LASER-DOPPLER ANEMOMETER, Measurement techniques, 39(6), 1996, pp. 645-651
A study is made of the efficiency of amplitude selection of signals in
an investigation in which flows of continuous media containing suspen
ded particles are examined with the use of a laser-Doppler anemometer
(LDA). Relations are obtained that make it possible to evaluate the ef
ficiency of signal selection and determine the interference from the s
ignals generated by the disperse particles prior to conducting experim
ents to measure the kinematic parameters of the dispersion medium.
