Abstract
An unusual trigonal monopyramidal nickel(ll) complex of a new tripodal tris-(N-tert-butylcarbamoylmethyl)aminato (3-) ligand is reported; th is ligand sterically protects the Ni-II centre preventing further liga nd coordination.
