Abstract
4-Nitrophenyl (10,15,20-triphenylporphyrin-5-yl)phenyl]carbamate and ( N-glycylamino)phenyl]-10,15,20-triphenylporphyrin have been synthesise d from a readily prepared monofunctionalised porphyrin; they couple ef ficiently with the side-chains of extended lysyl and glutamyl peptide derivatives, respectively.
