Abstract
Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) leaf discs incubated in the dark in solu tions with CaCl2 and benzyladenine (BA) maintained higher concentratio n of chlorophylls and proteins and higher activity of photosystem 2 (P S2) than controls. The effect of CaCl2 and BA in combination was addit ive.
