Abstract
We present a mathematical model describing the growth and development of capillary sprouts in response to the chemotactic stimulus of a tumo ur angiogenesis factor (TAF). Exact analytical solutions are then deri ved for a simplified model which retain the salient qualitative featur es of the full model.
