Abstract
La2-xSrxCuO4+delta with 0 less than or equal to x less than or equal t o 0.4 was fluorinated. Nonsuperconducting samples with x less than or equal to 0.05 were rendered superconducting after fluorination. T-c is little affected for x greater than or equal to 0.1; low-field diamagn etic properties are improved for these compositions.
