Gallbladder metastases of a cutaneous malignant melanoma: a case repor
t and review of the literature. - We report a case of metastatic malig
nant melanoma of the gall bladder presenting as a biliary migration in
a 74 year-old man who had been treated 2 years before for a malignant
melanoma of the right cheek. Pre-operative diagnosis was suggested by
retrograde endoscopic cholangiography and ultrasonography. We discuss
the clinical presentation and point out retrograde endoscopic cholang
iography and ultrasonographic findings in the diagnosis of these malig
nant secondary locations prior to surgical exploration.
