Abstract
Peritoneal mesothelioma. - A long term survival of 5 years was observe d with combined treatment: surgery and chemotherapy for a case of peri toneal mesothelioma. Peritoneal mesothelioma is a rare neoplasm often related with asbestos exposure and its prognosis is poor. No laborator y test other than histological study is specific for diagnosis. Combin ed treatment with radiotherapy and chemiotherapy showed better results on the survival rate.
