Abstract
The rotation of the sun's convective zone can be studied using the mot ions of magnetic features observed in the solar atmosphere although de eply rooted. It becomes possible to assign a depth of anchorage to the se magnetic tracers, by helioseismology, which probes solar rotation l ayer by layer.
