Abstract
This letter makes recommendations on the use of adaptive psychophysics in binaural tasks involving the detection of interaural delays. Speci fically, a logarithmic transformation of the stimulus dimension is rec ommended. The bases for this transform are explained. Monte Carlo simu lations and data from human observers show efficient tracking of thres hold. (C) 1995 Acoustical Society of America.
