Abstract
Several classifications for the nanocrystalline morphologies are intro duced. It is: demonstrated that coherency and coherence strain are imp ortant physical quantities, which influence the stability, the morphol ogy and the grain size of nanocrystalline domains. Examples for differ ent nanocrystalline textures are reported.
