M. Damore et Ms. Sarto, A NEW FORMULATION OF LOSSY GROUND RETURN PARAMETERS FOR TRANSIENT ANALYSIS OF MULTICONDUCTOR DISSIPATIVE LINES, IEEE transactions on power delivery, 12(1), 1997, pp. 303-314
A new prediction model of the ground distributed parameters for the tr
ansient analysis of multiconductor lines is proposed, which applies in
a wide frequency range and/or high ground resistivity. The obtained f
ormulation, basing on a rigorous procedure, is simple to handle for im
plementation in a computer code. The comparison between the developed
approach and the Carson model is carried out in order to define analyt
ically the differences concerning the expressions of the line paramete
rs. Both the models are applied to the computation of the transient vo
ltages of a power line excited by a current source or an EMP-plane wav
e.
