Abstract
The principal aspects addressed are the relationships between transpor t processes and depositional environments, and the sedimentary propert ies of the deposits. The following 'process-product' models are discus sed: (a) stone-banked solifluction sheets or lobes, (b) dry grain flow s and frost-coated clast flows, (c) debris flows, and (d) niveo-aeolia n transport within the context of talus development. Problems of conve rgence, the possible role of other processes, and the climatic signifi cance of stratified slope deposits are briefly discussed.
