A model corresponding to a fast algorithm to compute the steady-state
of the induction motor is presented. The principle of the model is to
start from the idea that the time pulsation is omega in the stator reg
ion and s omega in the rotor region. The coupling between the rotor an
d the stator is made only by the fundamental space harmonic, the other
harmonics are forced to vanish through the airgap. The interest of su
ch a model is to complement the very full but slow space-time model.
