Abstract
The theory of simulated Raman side and backward scattering of relativi stically strong, circularly polarized radiation is developed for an un derdense plasma. It is shown that, in addition to scattering at the ne ar-carrier frequency, efficient side scattering at the odd and even hi gh-frequency harmonics is possible.
