Abstract
I did my research on meadow soil between 1991-1994, testing the produc tivity and nutrition utilization of various maize hybrids in case of d ifferent fertilizer doses. The weather in the examined years was remar kably different: in 1991 fair, while in 1992, 1993, 1994 droughty. The evaluation of the research was done by analysis of variance and parab olical regression analysis. The productivity and the nutrient renspons e of maize hybrids are significantly different. Those hybrids which ar e able to produce high yield and greater income per hectare by smaller fertilizer doses are more valuable. Hybrids with good adaptability Oc citan SC, Stira Sc, Marista SC, Helga SC, Dolar TC and Dk 137 SC. Hybr dis sensitive to droughty weather: Pactol SC, Polka SC, AW 043 SC, Gol daris SC, Etalon SC and Volga SC. Considering the aspects of efficienc y and environment protection, maize needs only N-60-120, P-45-90 K-53- (106) kg/ha. active agent. With larger N doses than N-60-120 kg/ha the quantity of NO3-N reaches 150-200 mg/kg in the 100-120 cm soil profil e which can result in marked environment pollution.
