Abstract
This paper shows the results of adsorption-desorption, and of calorime tric measurements in methane-microporous activated carbon system. The influence of carbon surface oxidation and temperature on methane adsor ption is reported. The origin of adsorption-desorption hysteresis is e xplained and the mechanism of adsorption process is given.
