Abstract
An accurate and computationally efficient method is presented for solv ing patch resonators of arbitrary shape. This method improves on Okosh i's 2-D contour integral (CI) method by including the fringe fields an d radiation, through use of the 3-D complex images, The presented meth od may be called contour integral with fringe (CIF), Experiments are c onducted to verify the accuracy of the CIF method and show very good a greement with the theoretical predictions.
