The peculiarities of the exciton luminescence have been studied in qua
si-one-dimensional antiferromagnet CsMnCl3 . 2H(2)O in the low tempera
ture region at different concentrations of impurity ions of Cu2+. In t
he vicinity of impurity quasi one-dimensional migration of optical exc
itations has been found which is related to the spin projection forbid
deness lifting due to distortions of the magnetic structure.
