Abstract
A comparison of four tomographic methods that can be used to reconstru ct the gamma-radioactive fission products distribution in irradiated n uclear fuel pins is reported. The comparison is performed by use of nu merically generated data from phantoms which model typical distributio ns observed in CANDU type fuel pins. The influence of the quality of t he methods on the burn-up evaluation is studied.
