Fibrous histiocytomas are uncommon pulmonary tumors. They generally in
volve only the lung parenchyma. Endobronchial involvement is extremely
rare. Usually, surgical resection of the mass is required for definit
ive diagnosis and therapy. We report a case of benign atypical fibrous
histiocytoma visualized during fiberoptic bronchoscopy and review the
clinical findings and pathologic features of this tumor.
